Amazing Threads opened in 2002 in our original location in Osseo. We moved to Maple Grove in 2004 and expanded our space to accommodate a 24 x 24 classroom and substantial additions to the yarns, buttons, needles, bags and notions we carry.

We carry yarns from hand dyers such as Mountain Colors, Great Adirondack, Wool in the Woods, Fiesta Yarns, Diane Bartels, Manos, Rio de la Plata, Lucy Neatby, Koigu, Lornas Laces, Prism, Schaeffer Yarns and Malabrigo.

We carry wools from two U.S. manufacturers: Brown Sheep & Kraemer. We also carry base yarns (wools, alpacas, acrylics and blends) and novelties from Plymouth, Wool Pak, Karabella, Trendsetter, Berocco, Cascade, Elizabeth Austin, Knitting Fever (Noro), Euro (Louisa Harding), Tahki Stacy Charles, Muench, K1, Crochet 2, SouthWest Traders, Anny Blatt, Ironstone, Catalina, Nashua, Westminster Fibers, Blue Sky, Classic Elite, Kertzer, and quite a few more.

We carry needles and notions from Colonial (Rosewood and Bamboo), Bryson, Skacel (Addi Turbo), Plymouth, Inox, Clover & YarnCraft Supply.

We have a full line of knitting bags and notions from multiple suppliers including baskets from Lantern Moon and YarnCraft Supply.
