It's time for our Spring Yarn Tasting

Friday, March 26, 2010 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Food, fun, spectacular knitting projects, prizes and a chance to feast with your eyes and hands with all the new spring yarn.

We will have treats all day long, prizes galore & lots of yarn to knit on the needles for you to explore and enjoy. We will feature at least 12 Focus Projects - Maybe more if we can get the projects off the needles, blocked and to the store in time for our event. The yarn and pattern for each Focus Project will be 25% OFF on Friday only. This is our biggest Spring event. Here are a few of the Focus Projects to peek your interest. These Focus projects showcase the latest in new and wonderful fibers. Bamboo plus pearl protein, linen, cotton & modal ribbon yarn, classic cottons, and great blends.

New to the shop this week: Angel knit 3 new summer bags in new yarns that are just adorable-2 in Noro Yarns Cherimen & Taiyo, and one in a new yarn: Tabali. Any of the bags would make a great spring project.

TRUNK SHOW GARMENTS are here from Frog Tree. In addition to our Focus Project made in Picaboo from Frog Tree (Bamboo & Cotton) we also received a number of great new samples and patterns that will be available at the shop through Sunday. Purchase yarn to make one of the trunk show garments and receive 15% OFF your yarn for that garment. Samples include the NEW ORIGAMI CARDIGAN featured in Vogue.
