Yarn Market Class
Things remain busy in the shop. Tina and I have met with 4 of our major yarn representatives and will continue with several more tomorrow and in the upcoming weeks as we prepare for market in Columbus, Ohio the first weekend in June. Our strategy is to meet with as many of our major suppliers BEFORE market, ORDER LIKE CRAZY, compare yarns and then check out what else might be new and sensational at market. At the end of all the shopping and buying, we will then apply a BUDGET (EEK) and decide what will really work for our teaching staff and customers. Tina and I both agree that the shopping and sourcing is the MOST FUN part of our work of love! Looking at new yarns and designs energizes us for the upcoming fall season because it means something NEW!

Access Fashion is a web log with images, dedicated to knitting, crochet, needlework, and other forms of handmade, and on occasion, machine created, textiles in high fashion and art. This is a place of elegance and class in cyberspace.

Lots of great alpaca in every yarn weight including new hand dyed yarns. (We ordered a great new heavy worsted alpaca that is made in the USA.)

Yarns that knit quick-Get those size 13, 15, 17 &19 needles out of the stash bag. Chunky knits will be big AGAIN.

Capelets, wraps and capes with great detail in cables, etc. The new book from Aslan Trends has a great cabled capelet that knits quick!
