Oh where or where has our summer gone?  Can you believe that June is quickly coming to an end and next weekend we celebrate the Fourth of July?  We will be CLOSED Monday, July 4, 2011. We will be open regular hours Saturday (10 am-5 pm) & Sunday (12-4 pm)

June has been great for knitting.  I, too, am tired of rain but if Mother Nature insists on rain, I can make the best of it and finish a few more projects from my queue.  And, as we inch on toward fall, LOTS of new patterns, yarns, books, and more are beginning to arrive.   This week LOTS and LOTS of new books are at the shop.  I did not skimp on my book orders at market.  We have a wonderful library for our community of knitters. Here are just a few.  Check out more great titles & DVD's at the shop.

May Pattern of the Month = Linen Basket Liner created by Lindsey.  The pattern features Creative Focus Linen and you can knit 2 liners from 3 skeins of yarn.  These make great wedding shower and hostess gifts.  The color choices are wonderful.  Pattern is free with purchase of yarn to knit the liner. The pattern is free to KCMs and they receive 15% the yarn to make the liner.
