Some Kids Like it HOT!
Summer has arrived. It was over 90 degrees today and I still enjoy knitting daily. There have been a few times in the past couple of weeks that I couldn't get to my knitting and I have to say it made me crabby. It's not that I think of myself as a prolific knitter, but when I am denied my knitting time I get a bit out of sorts. I love the process of knitting, the click and the rhythm of the needles and the art of creating.

This past weekend I was able to design a new knit hat. Thanks to Tina, the pattern of the month is a great slouch hat, that I finished at 1:00 pm today. It's fun and cute and quick to knit. Tina loved the hat that Cameron Diaz wore on the Tonight Show one evening and so we decided to create our own version. As always the pattern is free to knit club members and available to any shopper with the purchase of the yarn to make the hat! Hat is knit in Saucy, Clip, King Tut or Top Seed Cotton.

What's NEW?

New supply of Go Knit Bags has arrived in several sizes. There is a special bag Jennifer has created to support the Alzheimer's Foundation. ALL of the cost of this purple bag goes to this charity by it's designer. This is a designer/manufacturer that doesn't scam the system and only give the customer's share to the charity. YEAH! We met Jennifer atmarket and fell in love with her and her new patterns. We will feature her new felted shrug/jacket at the Fall Yarn Tasting.

2 HUGE boxes arrived from Kertzer today. Of special interest are the HUGE skeins of Marble CHUNKY. 200 gram skeins which make prayer shawls and afghans knit up quick! Great color selection, too.

Knitter's Magazine Summer Issue Arrived Today. The trunk show should be here in the next couple of weeks.
