What's New: 7.21.10

Each week we prepare for all the new yarns we have ordered for the fall and winter knitting seasons. Read on to check out what has arrived this past week. Those of you who shopped our Christmas in July sale got some great bargains. On Monday, Tina and I walked the floor and decided to do some more purging. Our decisions are always made in the best interest of our customers.

We are implementing a "BAG SALE," which started today. We have bags of first quality yarns for large and small projects. All yarns are the same brand and color per bag. Quantity and color selection are GREAT. Bags are discounted 45% or MORE off retail pricing. Bags of yarn include: Frog Tree Worsted weight alpaca; Araucania Coliumo in solids and multi's. This bulky yarn is 70% merino & 30% silk. A great knit.

Coliumo Biosoja yarn is beautifully crafted in Italy of 40% organic soy and 34% organic cotton, & 16% organic bamboo. A great all season sweater yarn.

Many patterns and books, as well as yarns we will no longer stock have been moved to the 50% off clearance loft.

Tickets are $18.00- That is 5 dollars less per seat then the general public pays. There were only 300 seats reserved for Minnesota Knitters in the same area at this game and at this price.

What's New at the Shop

Our wonderful resident designer, CiD has published lots of new designs. I only wish I had a tenth of the creativity this woman infuses into her designs. Check out the newest assortment of holiday HoliAmis. Each Amis kit includes pattern, wire, eyes and felt. Start your holiday knitting now. Kits are $8.50.

Sheepy Trim Hat & Mittens contains patterns for 3 different hats and mittens. We carry Tiaga for the sheepy trim and when combined with Eco Alpaca, the result is MARVELOUS. Soft, warm and wonderful accessories for the upcoming winter in Minnesota.

Also new from Cid are the JoJo Cap and the DooScarf. The cap is knit in JoJoland Rhythm and the Scarf in Berroco Origami. Call the shop to purchase.

Nyoni Sock Yarn from Fleece Artist has been restocked. Mesh Bags from Walker are HERE in bright, funky colors. These bags are not just for knitting notions. I shove my receipts and coupons in one of these and throw it in my purse.

Atenti knitting bags are here at last. New & Fun from Skacel include Filligren, Batika, Piccolina. Filigran is hand dyed and solid lace weight merino. Piccolini is wool and nylon in skeins sized for baby booties. Batika is a great self patterning baby or kid yarn.
