What's New: 7.30.08

We are still reorganizing the store and it may take a couple more weeks to get the feng shui is right. Tina did the arranging by the front door today and you will all love the new button display along with the front wall filled with every color imaginable of sock yarn.

As we rearrange at the store, I am also reorganizing at home. My goal for 2008 was to get at those closets and parts of my home that need to be purged. This past weekend, I worked on my sewing stash. I don’t quilt much, but it seems I have kept scraps in bags for some odd reason along with lots of other goodies I found. It made me think how much I love to knit and why. I can take my knitting anywhere! When I sew I am isolated from the world, although that is sometimes good, too. I have knitting ready whenever I have to WAIT! I am not patient most of the time. I keep a small project in my car, along with my go green bags for shopping, so that I always have a way to relieve stress and wait patiently.

Speaking of being impatient! Much of our new yarns are arriving daily. In fact 6-8 boxes arrived today that we couldn’t even get to because of the massive yarn and fixture move. For those of you awaiting the Frog Tree worsted merino—IT WAS SHIPPED TODAY.

It should be here by next Monday.

We are fully stocked with all the colors in the selection, but this is going to be one of the big hits of the Fall 2008 yarn line. Shop early for the best selection.
