What's New: 10.11.11

  Tonight's blast will be shorter than normal as I must connect to the Internet out of town and I want to make sure you all get the update.  It is funny how secure we get with our computer and phone connections.  I find it hard to adapt sometimes.  Maybe it is age and maybe it is habit.  Knitting is like that too sometimes.  We like to knit on a certain size needle, a specific brand of needles or type and of course we all gravitate to certain designers.  When we are forced outside our "box," it often leads to a great adventure and a wondrous outcome. I have to constantly challenge myself with colors so that my knitting is not all jewel tones. Next time you are in the shop, ask the staff to help you select colors for your project.  A second opinion is often very objective. Take a trip outside your box with your next knitting project.
