Ok..Mother Nature has finally told us in no uncertain terms that winter in Minnesota is HERE.

Cold weather, blowing snow, and the prospect of a Minnesota snow storm has arrived. Some of us will jump into winter kicking and screaming. Others relish the thought of snow to enjoy winter sports. My only winter sport is driving to work. I'd rather be in a sand trap on the golf course than the snow bank. But, just like many other Minnesota's I love the quality of life and the "nice people" here so I am stuck with WINTER!

On a much happier note, the holidays are HERE as well. I love the music this time of year and it doesn't take much more than a sappy holiday tune to make me smile. I am still behind in my holiday knitting and hope to finish as many of my hand made gifts as possible before December 25. One of our customers gave me a great idea if I don't get it all done. She suggested I wrap up a copy of my pattern and a snip of yarn and add a note about the gift still on my needles. I think I will add a completion date to keep me on the straight and narrow. I always work better with dead! lines. Feel free to use this method if you don't finish ! your kni tting on time.
