Class skill level: Intermediate
This shawl starts out with garter stitch, then bands of two color brioche and ending with more garter stitch. Sample knitted in Frabjous Fibers Mary Ann fingering, one skein of each color.
Worked as a sideways bias-knit triangle with a centered bottom tip makes it an enjoyable knit and easy to wear item.
If you have never knitted brioche stitch this shawl would be a great project for you to try and practice the basic technique. The pattern has been well tested by knitters who had never done any brioche knitting before (and also by some experienced knitters) and they all found the pattern easy to follow and made some beautiful shawls!
The pattern provides fully written out as well as charted instructions.
