This beautiful brioche project is a great step for those who have mastered basic brioche work and are looking for something more challenging for the squishy fabric.
This dramatic cowl uses Bart & Francis Compressed Brioche Stitch featured in Nancy Marchant's book Knitting Fresh Brioche, but is also available as an individual pattern here on ravelry.
It is a lovely stitch for a cowl because both sides have a different appearance and are equally beautiful. Increases and decreases are worked in every LC round. Brioche is a great use for variegated yarn like Malabrigo Rios or Artfil Sweater!
Yarn: approximately 250 yards each of 2 colors, worsted weight
