New skills: garter tab cast on, nupps, shawl bind off, and blocking. The shawl is best categorized as a “shawlette” and can be knit in a variety of yarn weights—check out the pattern for yarn requirements. It is strongly recommended that lace-type knitting needles are used for this project (Addi Lace needles are ideal). Skill Level: Adventurous advanced beginner or intermediate (SR).
