Bynx Cowl - Learn to Knit Cables

The Bynx Cowl by Hayley Qinn is a classically cabled knit. This pattern works quickly in your favorite DK or worsted weight yarn. It is knit in the round and features ribbing and cables. This class will teach you the basics of knitting cables. It is also a great class to learn/practice knitting in the round.

1 skein of Red Stag Fibres Estate DK (231 yards each)
OR approximately 220 yards of DK weight yarn for the adult size.
SUGGESTED NEEDLES: Needles listed are suggested. Always take time to swatch.
US 6 - 16" circular needle for ribbing - or size necessary to obtain gauge
US 7 - 16" circular needle for body - or size necessary to obtain gauge.
TOOLS: Cable Needle, Tapestry Needle
GAUGE:
21 sts & 25 rows over 4 in stockinette (blocked) in the round on US 7 (4.5 mm)
24 sts & 28 rows over 4” in main pattern (blocked) in the round on US 7 (4.5 mm)
