Chromatic Cowl - Learn Brioche Knitting

The Chromatic Cowl is a fun, two-color brioche cowl perfect for learning brioche knitting! Pattern available for free on ravelry. This pattern pairs a gradient or handspun yarn with a coordinating solid for a soft and squishy fabric.

SIZES:

Adult Two Sizes: S (L)

YARN REQUIREMENTS:
Please note these are yarn estimates. The amount used will depend on yarn, your personal gauge, and any modifications you make.

Small:
MC - 200 yds of sport weight yarn (Amazing Threads Simply Sport or Primrose Roan Sport recommended)
CC - 200 yds of sport weight yarn (Primrose Homestead Sport is recommended)

Large:
MC - 400 yds
CC - 400 yds

SUGGESTED NEEDLES: Needles listed are suggested. Always take time to swatch.
US 4 - 3.5 mm, Small: 16" circular / Large: 30" circular

TOOLS: stitch marker, darning needle for weaving ends.

GAUGE:
20 sts and 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) blocked in brioche stitch. Gauge is not crucial to this project, but will affect finished size and drape.

Skill Level:	Intermediate
Skill Details:	Adventurous Beginner to Intermediate - Students should be comfortable with basic knitting skills. This class will focus on learning brioche knitting.
