Two at a Time Toe Up Socks on Magic Loop
Level up your sock knitting by knitting them two at a time! This intermediate level class will guide you through knitting two toe up socks at a time using one, long, circular needle. No more Second Sock Syndrome, as both socks are done at the same time! The Hubband Sock is a free pattern available on Ravelry and will be used for the class.
Students should be comfortable with knits, purls, basic left and right leaning decreases, and working in the round. Familiarity with magic loop and a basic understanding of sock anatomy will be helpful.
YARN REQUIREMENTS:
325 - 400 yards of sock yarn (fingering weight with some nylon for durability).
Consider options such as: Gusto Wool Echoes, La Bien Aimee Super Sock, Sweet Georgia Tough Love Sock
SUGGESTED NEEDLES:
US1 (2.25mm) 32" Circular needle
SIZES:
Small, Medium and Large
(8”, 9” and 10” foot width at ball of foot)
GAUGE:
35 stitches = 4 inches in stockinette
TOOLS:
locking stitch markers, flexible tape measure, darning needle for weaving ends.
