Shawl Shapes: From Soup to Nuts w/Cori Eichelberger

In this class you will cast on and work mini shawls in several of the following shapes: Square, Circular, Triangular, Heart-Shaped, Semi-Circular. The following shawl shapes will be discussed including wearability and basic shawl yarn choices will be included. Have you knit any of these shapes yet? Polygon, Faroese, Parallelogram , Trapeze, Triangle Elongated, Triangular Rectangle, Star, Modular Star, Vortex, Crescent, Curve, or Ring – Let’s look at the broad design world of shawl shapes.
This class is not intended to be a learn to knit class.
SUPPLIES
Please bring to class:
- a skein of worsted or aran weight yarn
- US Size 7 or 8 or 9 (4.5, 5, or 5.5 mm) needle 24” circular needle to match gauge
- A piece of cotton yarn, string or DMC type floss approx. 16” long
- Stitch marker
