Learn to Crochet - Kids
This class is intended for kids ages 9-13. Parents/caregivers are encouraged to spend the class time with us in our classroom for any additional support for our learners.
Join Rita for a 3 session class to learn basic crochet stitches. Students will be making a mug rug by the end of the class series.
The Beginner Mug Rug pattern is available for free on Ravelry.
The first session will be learning how to make a crochet chain and practicing the chain with a little crochet race. The other two sessions will be practicing basic crochet stitches and making a mug rug. Perfect for a desk or side table.

One skein of worsted weight yarn
Plymouth Encore Worsted recommended
*As written, the pattern calls for a different weight of yarn. We have adjusted the yarn weight for our class. Please follow our yarn and hook size recommendations for the purpose of this class.*
