Split Slouch Brioche Hat

Brush up on your brioche, or learn a new technique with the Split Slouch Hat. This hat uses two colors of DK-weight yarn and combines a marled garter stitch with brioche to create a stunning split look. The flattering unisex design and shape makes it a perfect option for everyone!

SIZES:
Three sizes: 18”, 20”, 22” around x 10 ½” - 11” tall. 2-4” (5 - 10 cm) of negative ease is recommended.

YARN REQUIREMENTS:

DK weight yarn. Options include Farmer's Daughter Fibers Juicy DK, La Bien Aimee Merino DK

Color A: 90-160 yards. This will be your foreground brioche knit color
Color B: 100-170 yards. This will be your background brioche purl color

SUGGESTED NEEDLES: Needles listed are suggested. Always take time to swatch.

US 6 (4mm) 16" circular needle
US 6 (4mm) DPN's

TOOLS: stitch markers, darning needle for weaving ends.
