This weekend 3 things hit home with me that reinforce the value of family and friends.  The first "AH HA" was that true friends will never hurt you or your family so those that do are not worth your time. The 2nd "AH HA" was when a customer stopped in the shop and said she was retiring and wanted to take some classes and was looking forward to more time for knitting.  As our conversation progressed I asked her when she was retiring.  She said her original date was January 15 but she has changed the date to work a bit longer as her husband had suddenly died 2 weeks ago and she didn't want to be home in an empty dark house. The third "AH HA" was a posting on my Facebook page by Jenny K who used to work with us.  I share it here. 



I wish everyone a Marry Christmas and health and happiness in the New Year. I am thankful for all our customers and the staff that make Amazing Threads a great place to work every day.   Hug you friends and family a little tighter.  Take some time for YOU.  Spend your time with those who care and live every day as if it were your last.
