Amazing Threads: NEW Georgia Farrell Designs and Blue Sky Fibers Mini Trunk Show

Despite getting plenty of snow this past Friday, it has been nice enjoying some "warmer" temperatures for a few days before it gets cold again.  Good thing we have a hobby that promotes all things warm and cozy!

We did have to postpone the Friday Night Stitching Event this past Friday due to the weather.  The new date is this coming Friday, January 21st, so there is still time to register if you are now able to make the new date!  Only a few spots remain!
Cast on a new project is our theme!
Stephanie and the team have a great evening planned~

Fun, prizes, discounts and more~

We are so excited to (finally!) hop this Spring!  We hope to see you April 7-10th at Amazing Threads and other participating stores!  The Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop announced the theme earlier this week: Minnesota State Parks!  It will be so much fun!

Some fun things arrived this week at the shop!

NEW designs from Georgia Farrell are here!  Rowan Abstract is here and features ten designs using Kidsilk Haze and Felted Tweed.  Using architecture as a visual language, Georgia reinterprets that inspiration into knits and purls to bring a totally unique design!

The mini trunk show from Blue Sky Fibers is here, featuring the beautiful, new colorways available in their Woolstok bundles!  Fire & Ice and Bramble & Fig were used to make the Tahoe Hat and the Tiverton Cowl.

Our customer Polly A. came into the shop for more of the NEW Pascuali Bayalage yarn to make more Oslo Hats for her family! She said it was the perfect hat for cold weather as it is knit with two strands of fingering weight held together!  A perfect hat for everyone! With so many color options, you will be sure to find the perfect colorway!

Kris has been busy knitting hats for her daughter and her friends!  She got a special request for neon hats to wear to a concert at Red Rock amphitheater in Colorado!  Plymouth Encore Worsted has some great neon colors to choose from!

Join Stephanie for an afternoon of working on the hats, cowls, or other winter items
currently on your needles so you still have time to wear and enjoy them this season!
