| Last Minute Stria Hat Cast-On tonight with Bobbi I am at the shop tonight and decided to do something impulsive. Andrea Mowry does a KAL Hat each Memorial Weekend This is year 5~ Stria is a simple half broken rib with 2 rounds of a coordinating color every 10 rows~ A great way to use up your left over fingering weight yarn~ Come on to the shop tonight or late this afternoon. | Details from Andrea Mowry The goal with this KAL (knitalong) is to try your hand at half-fishermen’s rib and to whip up a hat in a long weekend! We will be using my newest pattern - Stria Hat, which includes 3 sizes! The squishy, elastic nature of this stitch pattern means it has great stretch, and each size can fit a variety of noggins. This hat is worked from the brim to the crown, and thanks to the gauge difference between regular ribbing and Half-Fishermen’s Rib, you only need one needle size! WHEN: Cast on Today!! - Thursday, May 26 and “Bind Off” by end of day Monday, May 30! (The challenge aspect is just for fun, you are always welcome to cast on and just knit at your own pace!)
