Amazing Threads - Ice Cream Social, ChiaoGoo Swivel Cables, & New Samples

We hope your summer has been wonderful so far! We've had lots of opportunities to enjoy the sunshine and stay cool at the lake or pool!

We had a loads of fun at our Christmas in July Event! People that stopped in enjoyed a discount on their purchase and were able to enter a drawing!

Our winner, Sandy B. from Plymouth, received some beautiful red, bulky yarn to get a head start on holiday hats!

We hope to see you THIS SUNDAY for our Ice Cream Social event! Weather permitting we will set up under the tree in our parking lot. Bring your knit or crochet project, camping chair, and enjoy some ice cream with friends!

Open stitching will move upstairs if the weather is bad.

Our newest sample in the shop is the Sugar Shawl! This mosaic-knit, triangular shawl uses fingering weight and lace held double OR two different colors in fingering. Our sample is in Baah La Jolla and Rowan Fine Lace.

Peggy finished her wonderful and comfy sweater Growing Cardigan out of Rowan Kidsilk Haze and Felted Tweed. She said it's her most comfortable sweater!

Heather finished her Tiered Coat in Plymouth Merino Chunky. How sweet! This pattern is written for sizes newborn to 3/4T.

Heidi is making great progress on her Sailaway Cardigan! We love the colors she picked in Rowan Felted Tweed and Primrose Homestead!

The Sugar Shawl is an easy shawl pattern perfect for summer and early fall! Our sample is knit using Baah La Jolla and Rowan Fine Lace held double. Class starts July 31st!

New Works-In-Progress sessions have been added for August 31st and September 28th!

Elah by Isabell Kramer is a top down sweater knit in worsted weight. Class starts September 11th with an optional session on Thursday, August 25th to get help choosing yarn and discussing fit.

Susan is offering another Socks on Two Circular Needles Class starting September 11th!

Easy V by Caitlin Hunter is a beautiful, relaxed fit sweater in worsted weight! This intermediate level sweater consists of short rows and fair isle colorwork. Starting September 15th.

Remember we have social knitting every week on Tuesdays, both in the morning and evening. Join us Tuesday mornings from 11:00AM-1:00PM or Tuesday nights from 5:00PM-7:00PM. Free with Knit Club membership!

How cute is the Granny Stripe Blanket! This crochet project in DK weight yarn is perfect to work on while watching your favorite show or just when you need something simple to work on. Use up your stash or scrap yarn or consider Rowan Felted Tweed or Plymouth SW Merino DK for some great color options!

We love the on the beach sweater by Isabell Kraemer! This sport weight sweater is knit in stockinette, with raw edges and big stripes, perfect for the beach! Consider Juniper Moon Damask or Farmers Daughter Fibers Recollect.

The Seapoint Ribbed Hat is an Aran weight knit project that is a great way to use up some scrap yarn. Knit the hat and add your favorite accent color to give it a pop of color! Blue Sky Fibers Extra or Red Stag Fibre Estate Aran are some great options!

The Host with the Coast(ers) is a fun crochet project in worsted weight. Great for using up stash yarn otherwise have fun with Malabrigo Rios or Plymouth Encore!
