| It has been a chilly few days which means we have been able to bust out our handmade items! Did anyone else get out some handmade sweaters, hats, or shawls this week?  As we head into the cold weather season - Help us Give Back -  Amazing Threads is collecting clean and gently used coats for elementary and middle school students. We have a network of volunteers who will distribute all donations. We will also take adult coats for the homeless. Winter will arrive soon! Your generosity is appreciated. | Pom Pom Quarterly Issue 43 is now available for preorder! This issue explores our how our knits and making can expand our Horizons. This issue is inspired by the work of women artists Etel Adnan and Hilma af Klint.  Enjoy a variety of patterns including cardigans, sweaters, shawls, socks, and more!  We just received a shipment of a new-to-us yarn from Pascuali! Pascuali Tibetan is a worsted weight blend of 70% merino wool and 30% yak wool! It is a luxurious yarn that is incredibly light, soft, gentle to the skin, and very breathable.  Susan's Socks on Two Circulars class just finished up! How great are these beautiful socks! Great job to all that took the class.  Learn to Crochet also recently wrapped up. One of our students shared her finished washcloth and scrubbie! Great work!  |

| October's Friday Night Stitching is this week! Don't worry about cooking this Friday and join us for dinner, prizes, and fun!  Join us for the Two Rivers Mitts class and make a beautiful pair of mittens for the family! Starting November 6th at 12:00pm.  The Starflower Blanket class can be made from stroller to lap sized! Class starts November 6th at 2:00PM!  Join us starting November 30th at 5:30PM for the Holiday Doodle Hat class! Get ready for the holiday season with this fun and creative pattern!  Works-In-Progress classes for November (11/9) and December (12/15) have been added to the calendar.
