Amazing Threads - First Day of Shop Hop Success

APRIL 13-16, 2023

'Tis the season for yarn shop hopping! This is one of our favorite times of year! We just wrapped up our first day and had so much fun! We can't wait to see the rest of you this weekend!

Whether you are new to the Shop Hop or an experienced Hopper, we wanted to highlight all the fun events and opportunities you will have during the Hop here at Amazing Threads and at other participating shops.

THE THEME

Every year the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop picks an overall theme for the Shop Hop. This year's theme is Under The Sea! Each store has a unique object, place, animal, etc. which has inspired a new pattern design and yarn colorway representative of their shop's theme.

Amazing Threads' theme is Jellyfish which has inspired a knit and crochet pattern this year!

THE CAUSE

Each participating store is collecting monetary donations for their local food shelf. By making your $50 donation in cash or check at the store, you will receive your official Shop Hop Passport and EZ Pass sticker! Donating $50 up front saves you $10 off the recommended donation of $5 for each store.

Show your EZ sticker at each shop you visit during the Hop to receive that shop's giveaway item while supplies last!

Amazing Threads is collecting monetary donations for CROSS Services.
So far you have helped us raise over $4600 for CROSS! Thank you for your generosity!

Make Your Plan

This year there are 12 yarn shops in the Twin Cities and surrounding area participating in the Minnesota Yarn Shop Hop! See participating shops here.

Each store will have their own daily door prizes for you to enter to win! Prepare in advance by printing and filling out the drawing slips for you to drop them and go!

When you are done hopping, turn in your Passport at the last store you stop at for the opportunity to win overall prizes from the MN Shop Hop! Those that get their passport stamped at all 12 stores will be entered into the GRAND PRIZE drawings! Other passports will be entered into the second chance prize drawing!

THE EXTRAS

Not only do we have our shop hop exclusive pattern and yarns, but we have other fun surprises in store!
