Amazing Threads - Yarn Bucks and Project Inspo

Winter is here and the snow has arrived.  This was outside of the shop this past Saturday and we were grateful for clean sidewalks and parking lot.  If the weather keeps you home at some point this winter, know you can always order online and select in-store pick up at check out.

It's the last week to use your Holiday Yarn Bucks!

Did you get some Holiday Yarn bucks last month with your gift card purchase?  Be sure to use your Yarn Bucks towards your purchase between now and January 15th!

We gathered this past Saturday for our first progress session of the Gib Sweater Knit-Along for 2024!  It's not too late to join us!  Grab your favorite worsted weight yarn and cast-on!  Our next progress session is on March 9th.  Register here.

This week's project inspiration was a bit of a double feature!  The Musselburgh Hat and Oslo Hat are two great, staple beanies!

We chose some great yarn options in both DK weight as well as fingering weight held double or held with mohair!  La Bien Aimee Merino DK and Farmer's Daughter Fibers Craggy Tweed are our favorite DK weight options.  We thought Pascuali Balayage held double or along with Mohair Bliss or Mohair Silk would be beautiful options as well.

Speaking of DK weight yarn, we did a little shop rearranging earlier today.  You will find the Farmer's Daughter and La Bien Aimee DK yarns on the big wall, and other DK weight yarns such as Sirdar Country Classic and Plymouth Superwash Merino to the other shelving unit.  Can't find something, just ask!

We love Susan's Louvre Sweater by Petite Knit.  She knit hers in Farmer's Daughter Fibers Craggy Tweed.  It looks so good!

Join Derek for the Scoreboard Scarf Cast-Off Party! The football season is coming to a close, and it's time to wrap up your scarf. Come in to finish up your last couple of games, Kitchener stitch your scarf together, and celebrate the end of the season with others! Treats will be provided!
