Laine Magazine: Anniversary Issue -- PREORDER

Laine Anniversary Issue is a special one-shot issue of Laine Magazine, celebrating the magazine’s 10th anniversary. It features 23 knitwear patterns from international designers.

Note! This is a preorder product. Publication day is July 30.  All other items ordered with this will be head until release date or we receive our shop copies, whichever is later.

In this issue, some designers revisit their most beloved Laine patterns, creating new and unique versions of them. For example, Fiona Alice’s Järvimaa cardigan is a fresh take on her Lakeland sweater, originally published in Issue 4, and Sari Nordlund’s Poet skirt features the same lace pattern as her Poet sweater from Issue 6!

Sweaters, cardigans and vests — the patterns most loved by knitters — take center stage in this issue, but it also features a few stunning accessory patterns, such as the delicate Caprifolium shawl by Lene Tøsti, as well as the Pinaceae Hat by Rachel Brockman (a nod to her Pinaceae sweater from Issue 9).

The knits are worked in a variety of techniques, from lace and cables to intarsia and stranded colourwork, as well as simple stockinette stitch. Aleks Byrd’s Pael vest showcases Estonian knitting techniques, such as the Roosimine Estonian Inlay, while Dee Hardwicke’s Wild Rose slipover incorporates intricate stitching on the knitted fabric.
