Appalachian Baby Designs Kits are fabulous to knit and fun to complete and give a gifts. All kits contain US Organic Cotton Yarn & complete patterns.
Hill & Holler Cardigan Kit: This Henley cardigan uses both our natural U.S. organic cotton and dyed U.S. organic cotton, using an earth friendly dye process known as low-impact. The garter stitch ridge gives it distinctive striping. We package the kit in an organza bag with two balls of our natural cotton (194 yds. each) and one ball of the dyed yarn (194 yds. each). Included in the kit is a button card with five U.S. wooden buttons and the detailed pattern.
Tally Ho Hats: A lovely cap for baby, featuring classic stripes in Indigo and Blush or Baby Blue. This cap matches the same style as the Tally Ho Blanket, a great gift set for the new baby in your life! Skill Level: Intermediate Size: 12 month Circumference: 15" Needles: 7 (4.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. Gauge: 18 sts and 21 1/2 rows = 4" in Stockinette Stitch, blocked Kit includes sufficient yarn to complete the project: One 100 yard/91m ball of Blue or Blush and one 40 yard ball of Indigo.
Monochrome Blanket Kit: Personalize a baby blanket and it becomes a true family heirloom. The blanket pattern contains an alphabet graph and directions how to put the baby's initials in the box. The design, created by rows of stockinette stitch boxes outlined with purl stitches. The monogram sets in the center, created in stockinette stitch on a reverse stockinette background. The kit contains 1000 yds of our U.S. organic cotton and the detailed pattern. A U.S. size 6 circular needle is recommended. Gauge: 5 stitches and 7 rows = 1". Advanced knitting skills required. Errata: Section 2: *k1, p1* 5 times on both the right and wrong side rows should read *p1, k1* 5 times
