Townline Shawl - Mosaic Knitting



Knit on the bias, Townline is a fingering weight asymmetrical triangular shawl. Thoughtful increases create a shape that is perfect for wrapping around your neck. Sections of surprisingly simple mosaic knitting are framed with meditative and relaxing garter stitch. A picot bind-off completes the shawl edge, mimicking the mosaic dot work. Approximately 75”/187.5cm wingspan x 22”/55cm at deepest edge

3 skeins of North Bay Fiber Elemental Fingering in 3 colorways or 

fingering weight yarn in the approx yardage:

CC1: 179 yds/163m
CC2: 281 yds/255m

Size US 5 (3.75 mm) 32”/80 cm (circ) needle — or size necessary to obtain gauge
Tapestry Needle

GAUGE
22 sts x 38 rows = 4”/10cm in garter stitch, blocked
